Thank you for a wonderful winter season 2009/2010
The sound of the snow scrunching under our feet
has changed into the sound of dripping water
and birds singing in the bright, warm sunlight,
the end of a very cold, beautiful winter.
A big thank you to all our nice guests that made this
an unforgettable time in many ways and to the dogs
of husky holiday without whom all these little adventures
would not have been possible.

Husky Special Week 8 Report
We came out from the UK, a family of three grown-up sisters
looking forward to enjoying our husky holiday together,
not guessing quite how much joyful fun we'd share.
Kim is an inspiration and made us feel not only welcome but
special as well as cooking us delicious meals - simple
and
hearty with her own individual touch.
She and Sylvia are warm
and genuine people, helping us
learn quickly so that we could
be really involved with the dogs, feeding as well as harnessing
and driving.
Each day was a perfect balance of practical activity and
challenge with peace and rest and far ranging conversations.
We so much appreciated the opportunity
to be quiet-
inside and outside.
It was very special to experience a
silence so deep
you have to listen to it above the singing
in your ears,
the creaking of the snow and the skff, skff, skff
of the dog feed running.
We each share different special memories, the singing of the
dogs in the night under the moon, waking up snug in a cocoon
of snow, catching our own fish from the lake for supper.
We'd thought we were escaping for a week's holiday,
but we're returning with inspiration for a lifetime-
thank you Kim.
